  • Current PhD student in Education (Focus in Music Education)

  • Standardizing “Yikao”: An analysis of the reform in Arts College Entrance Examination (ACEE) in China in 2024;

  • A Yin-Yang approach: Investigating students’ beliefs about teaching and learning in music among college students in Macau, China;

  • Mental health challenges of Tibetan music teachers: A mixed-methods study;

  • Exploring the Impact of Music Preferences on Depressive Symptoms and Meaning in Life: A Network Analysis Approach

Professional Background:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Southwest University

  • Current PhD student in Education

Research Interests:

  • Her research focuses on K–12 and pre-service music teacher education, with particular interests in popular music pedagogy, educational policy, and teacher development. She is also deeply interested in the cultural dimensions of music education, including ethnic and traditional music practices in China. Through interdisciplinary inquiry, she aims to explore how music and culture intersect in educational settings to foster inclusive and contextually grounded learning experiences.
